ICON P-Rep Upgraded Chatbot Since the launch of decentralization — on October 29, 2019, the ICON community is getting a lot of information from different sources. To run an effective P-rep campaigns, these information are very important. But the information is distributed all over the communities and social media platforms. We at iBriz-ICONsphere have put out an application to aggregate much of the information in one place. Introducing P-Rep FAQ bot. ICON P-Rep Chatbot is a chatbot prepared to help ICONists get information regarding the ICON P-Rep campaign. Type of information the bot will answer - Answers to questions asked by the users based on Frequently asked questions. What is the status of a prep candidate? This includes information such as ranking, total votes, productivity, iScore claim count and other details. What exactly is the number of votes needed to get to the top 22? What is the vote difference between 2 preps? What is the remaining time for iScore Distribution? I-Score is the rewards you obtain in the ICON blockchain. 1000 I-Score = 1 ICX. P-Reps, as well as iconists, receive rewards from ICON in the form of I-Score. I-Score is distributed once a day. You receive the first I-Score after 2 days and then daily. What is the remaining time for the Next Term/cycle? Next term starting time is the exact time when the ranks of P-Reps are changed based on the current vote count. The P-Reps who are in the top 22 at the time of starting a new term becomes the main P-Reps for next term. During this term change time, I-Score is distributed to all P-Reps as well as Iconists and new ranks of P-Reps are calculated. Analytics of the questions asked by users and the time of the questions asked will be available on the dashboard in the future. Feature to calculate user input ICX to equivalent USD. Here they are: /help - Lists the commands to help users to interact with the bot. /status {PrepName} - Get your prep status on icon P-Rep election Productivity of prep in Block Production /iscore - Get the remaining time for iscore distribution. /next_term - Get remaining time for next term to start. /askthebot - Display text to directly message the chatbot for the FAQ inquiry. /votes_diff {Prep1} {Prep2}- Shows votes difference between Prep 1 and Prep 2 /icx_usd {no. of icx}- Calculate user input ICX to equivalent USD /stats - Shows the top 10 most clicked FAQ questions on the bot /stats_click - Shows the top 10 most clicked FAQ questions on the bot with no. of clicks For it to work, users can directly message the bot with their question and this question is tallied with the most asked questions on ICON communities and different social media platforms. As a reply, the user gets options of related questions and upon selection, this chatbot provides the answer to the question. The options of the questions are based on the similarity of the query. The bot also handles greetings and intro messages with the help of Smalltalk which is an NLP module. As of now, there are more than 90 FAQ questions and more than 30 users have queried our bot. After the last update of the bot, having the next term remaining time and I-Score distribution time, user interaction has been increased and the user has been asking for other server status details which will be updated very soon. Furthermore, we are working to get the data of every P-Rep for the chatbot which can be used by ICONists to get a notification on the preps they have delegated their votes to. Some of these features will be extended to a new bot which will be focusing more on prep and server status in our future extensions. Implementing AI/ML to the chatbot will also help to increase the accuracy of the bot which we have planned in our future agendas.
