Mass adoption is happening for Shiba Inu. Holders can now spend their SHIB anywhere that accepts Mastercard.

SHIBA INU is one of the most popular meme coins but is slowly giving up that title as more and more companies start accepting the cryptocurrency. Shiba Inu has generated huge year-on-year returns for investors but where can you spend it? In December 2021, Flexa – a cryptocurrency payment processor that supports a number of different cryptos, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Dogecoin – announced it would be accepting Shiba Inu moving forward. This meant SHIB holders could use the token to pay for products and services at over 40,000 stores. Using Flexa’s smartphone app, SPEDN, you can pay for all kinds of things using cryptocurrency. The SPEDN app is free to download. BitPay, another crypto payment processor, has also supported SHIB payments since late 2021 allowing holders to spend their SHIB at hundreds of merchants. If you have a BitPay Card, you can use Shiba Inu like cash almost everywhere you go. The BitPay Card pulls funds from your Shiba Inu wallet meaning you can spend SHIB online or in-store wherever accepts Mastercard. You can even use it at ATMs to turn SHIB into cash. Who accepts Shiba Inu as payment? 1) Equinox Luxury gym chain Equinox now accepts cryptocurrencies as a form of payment. The New York-based firm accepts Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Wrapped Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Shiba Inu. 2) Nova Taxi Spain’s local taxi service Nova Taxi accepts SHIB as payment. “Do you need a Taxi? Well, now you can pay with $SHIB at Nova Taxi,” the firm said. Nova Taxi has also added the SHIB logo onto some taxis to promote the new form of payment. 3) Gucci Luxury fashion brand Gucci accept cryptocurrencies as a form of payment. Gucci said it will accept cryptos such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu due to “growing demand”. 4) Chipotle Mexican fast-food restaurant chain Chipotle now accepts Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies through the digital payments platform Flexa. Americans can now pay with SHIB at more than 2,975 Chipotle restaurants in the US. 5) São Paulo FC Brazilian football club São Paulo FC accepts Shiba Inu as payment for tickets. The club said: “In partnership with Bitso, the official sponsor of São Paulo FC, fans can now buy tickets for games at Morumbi by paying in cryptocurrency.” 6) TAG Heuer TAG Heuer now accepts SHIB tokens as payment in collaboration with BitPay. 7) AMC Theatres Americans can buy movie tickets and merchandise with Shiba Inu.
