How Tron (TRX) Is On the Cusp of Changing the Game - Crypto Crimson

The character of Tron in the 1982 movie with a similar name, was a computer program that fought for the users against the Master Control Program or MCP. The latter was a malicious program that wanted to take over ENCOM’s computing and gaming world. The graphics back then were not as good, but the metaphor of one computer program fighting for the users, was probably why Justin Sun and the Tron foundation decided to name their project that way. (The 2010 reboot of the Tron movie, had better graphics and an equally exciting soundtrack by Daft Punk.) Decentralizing the Internet and Giving back Power to the Users Looking at the Tron Foundation’s plans to decentralize the internet and give back ownership to the users, the following milestones have been achieved: Launching a functional Mainnet Showcasing decentralization with 27 Super Representatives SeedIt popularizing tipping using TRX on Twitter and Telegram Tron Foundation freezing its own 33 Billion TRX till January 2020 to guarantee circulating supply Acquiring BitTorrent and launching Project Atlas to integrate it onto the Tron ecosystem Activation of the Tron Virtual Machine that will make smart contracts capable on the Mainnet. The TVM is compatible with the Ethereum virtual machine Launching a Developer suite to assist in the process of creating DApps on the platform A developer conference scheduled for January in San Francisco Launching the first game on the platform, Magic Academy Almost half a million accounts on the platform (491,550) at the moment of writing this. 1 Million should be a few weeks or months away TRX adoption on a global scale with the most recent being Poppy Point of Sale terminals Baidu speculated as Tron’s newest partner with possibly more partnerships to come as the year winds down Smart Contracts Already Deployed The above list is not all inclusive of recent developments due to the fact that there have been a lot of them in the last 12 months or so. But they all point to the fact that the Tron mainnet has been the only blockchain platform without any post-launch problems thus far. Unconfirmed reports indicate that 82 smart contracts have already been deployed since the TVM was activated this past week. The same smart contracts have been called a whopping 40,658 times. Going back to the earlier comparison of the project to the Tron character in the 1982 film, we can conclude that this is one project that plans on fighting for the users of the internet by decentralizing it on the blockchain.
