EOS airdrop checklist

So here’s a thing. I’m sure like many of us I’ve been trying to keep track of the available airdrops to us EOS holders and based on my analysis it does seem to a bit of a hit and miss affair. On the one hand some are “pure” airdrops where you have to do nothing to receive them, while others are either “airgrabs” (via eostoolkit.io etc) or “claimdrops” that require us to actively go get them by performing a variety of tasks. All pretty confusing no? You bet. So here I will try and present in a clear way what you should (or should not) be expecting or already have. For the purposes of clarity I have both drawn upon the following resources and made the following assumptions: 1. You were a holder of EOS at genesis and held a minimum of 100 EOS at that time – as some drops require(d) you to hold this minimum amount for you to receive them automatically. If you held less than 100 EOS at this time you may still be entitled to a drop but will have to check if you need to actively go get it. 2. I have drawn extensively upon Chaney Moore’s fantastic “EOS airdrop tracker” which he continually updates and you can find here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10YwFRklMpu99OzqzUUVXhwP4SAytlUOje29WMgtUqe0/htmlview# 3. As it was in effect the first exchange for trading of airdropped coins, I have used Chaince as the de facto trading platform for seeing those coins they are listing as having already been dropped or “snapshotted” as they put it. The reference page from Chaince is here: https://www.chaince.com/airdrops although I believe in order to view it you may be required to register with them if you haven’t already done so. 4. I have also drawn upon airdropsforeos (which you can find here: https://airdropsforeos.com/) as another “go to” reference. I do this as there may be discrepancies between those tokens which have either dropped or will be dropped to those who hold their EOS on Chaince (or indeed other “supporting” platforms), as opposed to those of us who do not. 5. I will also deal with those “coins” which were dropped to Ethereum addresses which held the old (now “dead” or “frozen”) ETH erc-20 tokens prior to the launch of the EOS mainnet, the “genesis”. I tag these clearly as erc-20. It is important to note that some of these coins require action to port them across to the EOS mainnet by October 1st (notable MeetOne and KEOS) or they will be “lost” forever. 6. I define an “airdrop” as you having to do nothing to receive them (except to comply with the “rules” of the drop). These “rules” can range from being an EOS holder from the genesis snapshot and/or holding a minimum required amount of EOS at that time (most often 100) etc. For brevity, I leave you to check in each individual case as I have provided the links available for you to do your own research. I have omitted to include the associated telegram groups relating to each drop as there can be more than one. Besides, with a little effort upon your part they can easily be found and more often than not are provided on the associated coin’s website. 7. I define a “claimdrop” where you not only have to comply with certain “rules” as with airdrops but also have to actively gone out (or go out) and do something such as join a telegram group, follow on twitter etc in order to be eligible for the drop. This will allow you to see if you have missed the boat for certain coins or if you still have a chance to receive them. On a final note here, sometimes a drop can be both an airdrop and a claimdrop. The claimdrop aspect allows you to receive coins over and above the airdrop amount for completing certain tasks and I have tried to indicate this where possible. 7. I define an “airgrab” as that situation where you not only have to follow the basic “rules” but also have to contribute a bit of ETH and Gas (as with EOSC – EOSClassic) or EOS RAM to receive the coins to be “grabbed”. Aside from EOSC, this latter proposition applies to ATD, POOR, TRYBE, WIZZ and RIDL via the EOS Toolkit page here: https://eostoolkit.io/airgrab. In order to “grab” from this source you will need to link your EOS account to eostoolkit with scatter. 8. Where I am not entirely sure as to the status of something, I have indicated this with a question mark, preferring to err on the side of caution as opposed to making a false claim. Equally, I had originally put this list together in tabular form but the formatting here does not currently provide for this facility so it must be presented in list form. Reading from left to right, the fields are organised as follows: Coin/Token Name – Project Name – Primary Source for verification – Coin Website – Type of drop Finally, if I have made any errors or omissions I apologize. In such circumstances please feel free to comment as I have tried my best to be as inclusive and as accurate as possible. But like you, I find it hard to keep up to date with this ever changing landscape and hope this list goes some way towards you keeping on top of things as they currently stand.
