Cryptocurrencies are poisonous says Charlie Munger (Warren Buffets partner) another useless opinion

Cryptocurrencies according to Charlie Munger, should be destroyed by the government and according to him, cryptocurrencies are poisonous. Charlie Munger who has been a deputy, partner and mentor to Warren Buffet calls on a government crackdown on digital currencies just a few weeks after Warren Buffet expressed his doubts on cryptocurrencies. In a 2-hour meeting in Downtown LA, Munger a 94-year-old successful business and chairman of the Daily Journal corporation called on a government crackdown on cryptocurrencies. He said they were poisonous and are leading to a dead end. He also described its investors as individuals who are simply looking to make fast money. He also called the increasing interest in digital assets stupid and said “I regard the Bitcoin craze as totally asinine” as reported by express.co.uk. His comments come at a time when Bitcoin has recovered more than $2,500 from its recent dip and is now trying to break through the 10K mark. Similar negative comments have been made in the past about Bitcoin, but cryptocurrencies continue to thrive, and Bitcoin is still alive for about 10 years now. JP Morgan who once made such harsh comments now see a future in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. What are your thoughts on such comments? Do you think people like Munger lack education on cryptocurrencies and should be educated on the potentials of digital currencies? Let us know your thoughts below.
