Collaborating with ICON

ICON & iBriz-ICONOsphere Collaboration Dating back as early as early 2018, iBriz-ICONOsphere has a history of involvement with the ICON foundation. This includes conducting workshops at events like the Blockchain Week in San Francisco to creating dApps. Through this engagement, iBriz-ICONOsphere has acquired a deep understanding of the ICON blockchain technology. We have also built a great relationship with the ICON team, both here in the US and also in Korea. Coupling this with the extensive network and marketing strength that iBriz brings, we are poised to help build the ICON Nation. Here are some highlights of our involvement and how we aim to use that learning to help develop and promote the ICON eco-system. Participation in the launching of the ICX Station: ICX Station is an initiative to incubate, accelerate the compelling use cases in the ICON eco-system. It also provides education and research to the community. Helping expand the developer community and provide data driven insight is another major role of ICX Station. Dr. Dan Brehmer, Kumar Pandey and Bijay Niraula were the senior executives from iBriz who participated in this event. ICON Developer Workshop: Project Description: Prior to the ICX Station Launch program in San Francisco, iBriz team had already studied and experimented with the ICON Blockchain technology. Our CTO, Kumar Pandey was able to do a walk through to the participants. Project Description & Learning: Dr. Dan Brehmer & Bijay Niraula (CEO iBriz) presenting to explain the ICON developer ecosystem. b. Resources - 4. ICON Transaction Challenge: a. Project Description: What is a transaction challenge? Why is a transaction challenge important to the network? These games are still functioning and creating transactions. b. Resources: 5. ICON Testnet Faucet: a. Project Description: The ICON faucet is a web-based service that provides free tokens to users on the testnet. The tokens enable users to experiment with ICON Blockchain features without spending ICX cryptocurrency on the mainnet. Developers will need some initial funds to start testing on the testnet network. The faucet component provides you with a sufficient amount of test ICX to get started. b. Accessing Faucet: http://icon-faucet.ibriz.ai/ 6. Decentralized Finance (DeFi) & Payment Systems: One of the key strengths of iBriz is fintech. We are already creating applications in the financial sector which have received venture funding in the US. One such project is Oyster.io for the Mexican Market. Our team in Nepal and the US is helping build this project from ground up. We are also building financial software for some major banks in Nepal. We have already provided training to banks technology team. We are keen to bring all this fintech knowledge to the ICON eco-system. Decentralized Finance (Defi) is considered to be one of the low hanging use cases of the blockchain technology. With that in mind we have already started helping with some defi projects in the ICON eco-system. a. Zensports Payment System: — https://zensports.com/ iBriz team worked with ZenSports to develop their payment gateway to access SPORTS token as a payment method in ZenSports. We also built their IRC-2 token (which is a standard token specification for the ICON Network, stands for ‘ICON Request for Comment) the ICON equivalent of ERC 20 token. A token standard interface allows any tokens on ICON to be re-used by other third parties, from wallets to decentralized exchanges. b. XCelTrip ICX payment integration. iBriz-ICONOsphere has contributed much to the eco-system so far. Thank to the ICONists’ trust we continue to be in the top section of the governance list. Our dedication to the growth of the eco-system is clear from all the involvement that we have had so far. We are in it for the long haul. We have the tech knowhow and marketing resources to develop and promote ICON. We also are already spending much of our P-rep rewards to developing projects that help the growth of ICON-Nation.
