Buying Tether USDT with a Credit Card in Lumi Wallet (no KYC up to $150)

Apart from Bitcoin and Ether, Lumi Wallet users can now buy Tether with their credit cards directly in their wallets!  Tether is the biggest stablecoin on the crypto market today, and we’ve seen a high surge in demand for USDT in recent months among Lumi Wallet users. And we are thrilled to simplify the buying process and add the option to buy Tether with your credit card.  How to Buy Tether USDT in Lumi Wallet If you’re relatively new to the cryptocurrency space and not sure how to buy crypto, we’ve got good news for you: with Lumi Wallet it’s simple. Besides, when you purchase your coins via a client-side wallet like Lumi, you can be sure that your funds are always well-protected. No crypto will ever leave your device without you knowing. This way you remain the sole owner of your digital assets at all times. How to buy USDT in Lumi WalletHere’s what you need to do to buy Tether with your credit card: Create or import a wallet Download Lumi and create a new wallet. If you already have a wallet, you can import it too. Registration is quick and you don’t need to provide any info. We value your privacy. Go to Settings and tap on General. Tap on the Backup wallet menu and write down your 12-word mnemonic phrase. This 12-word phrase is the only way to get access to your wallet.  Do not store it on your phone, write it down on a piece of paper and keep it safe. Never share it with anyone. Remember, whoever has access to your mnemonic has full access to your money too! Go to the Wallets menu, tap on the Manage wallets sign, choose ETH tokens tab, type in Tether in the search line, tick it, and tap Ok. Check out your new Tether wallet on the Wallets menu. Tap on the Buy icon at the bottom of the main screen. You can choose your local fiat currency and switch to Tether. Then enter the amount in fiat or the amount of Tether you want to buy.  And the best thing is that you don’t need to provide your ID for purchases under $150! If you wish to buy more, you need to upload your ID and fill in some info. Fill in your credit card details Enter your standard credit card information, billing address, email, and phone number. You can choose to save your card for future purchases. Then tap on Pay now. For purchases over $150, you need to provide your ID. Upload a photo of your ID, fill in your details including your address, and confirm by clicking on the ‘Upload Document’ button. You might need to fill in the code from your bank to finalize the transaction and on very rare cases occasions Simplex may require you to upload a selfie with your credit card. Once everything is filled in, Simplex starts processing your transaction. The first transaction usually takes a little longer than the following ones, and you can enter your payment ID here to check the status of your transaction or get in touch with support.
