Bi Weekly update #2 (from March 8th)

Biweekly Update: March 8th Dear Gatcoiners, Welcome to our regular bi-weekly update. Development: The GAT System includes the simultaneous launch of several components, which includes the mobile app (including the GAT wallet), the exchange, the merchant dashboard, and the merchant app. It is probably an understatement to say that the GAT System is “complex”. It is no small task to deliver a system that we know will be successful. The team is 100% laser-focused on development work. We are building the system in-house, and will not out-source core dev. This allows us to control quality, make changes on-the-fly, and also add features over time. The mobile app design and architecture is done, and we’re finalizing the merchant-side now. The interface for the A-drop functionality by geo-location is looking impressive, and the merchant dashboard highly intuitive (and simple) for retailers to configure drops. The merchant dashboard will also display key data so merchants can monitor the effectiveness of campaigns in real time and make adjustments for future campaigns. Team Videos: If you haven’t watched them already, we’ve posted the first 3 of a series of team videos where you can watch us explain the GATCOIN project and discuss the key design philosophy behind the project. I’d encourage you to take a look in order to familiarize yourself with our team members, and also to get a better insight into where we are heading with the project. How does GATCOIN work? Business Model Data Analytics Retail Partnerships: We are working hard with our existing partners, as well as a number of other new partners. We’re making great progress, and are excited by the breadth of stores that we hope to be able to cover at launch. We have found it easier than expected to engage in discussions with new partners as it seems that mobile app promotional tools are in very high demand. It’s also important to remember that the GAT System doesn’t actually need us to sign-up individual merchants one-by-one. Once we go live, any merchant from around the world can start using GATCOIN by simply downloading the merchant app to a mobile device (such as a tablet or phone), and create and launch rewards through the merchant dashboard on our website. We do, however, continue to promote the GAT System to new merchants to build awareness, and to encourage bigger brands to use the system. That’s all for this update.
