AirSwap was designed from the ground up to provide privacy, security, and choice on a global, peer-to-peer trading network with no intermediaries and no trading fees. We at AirSwap truly aim to build the engine of the new token economy.We’ve talked about our token over the last couple of months, and today are announcing the structure of the AirSwap Token (AST) sale to be held on October 10, 2017. Our goal is to involve the broadest community possible, and we’ll be performing a whitelist registration to ensure individual limitations on the sale. The token sale will be conducted using the AirSwap exchange smart contract and through an implementation of the Peer Protocol on a web frontend. AST Creation Prior to the Token Sale, AirSwap will create 500,000,000 AST. These will be the only AST created by AirSwap so no further inflation to the number of AST is possible. The AST smart contract will conform to the ERC20 (now EIP20) standard.
