AI and VR are both significant technologies, but they have some limitations. VR is still in its early stages of development and the hardware needed to use it can be expensive. For example, the basic 128 GB model of Meta's recent Quest 3 costs $499, while the 512 GB variant costs $649. Meanwhile, for AI, the biggest challenge is dealing with "hallucinations." These occur when large language models generate new and often incorrect information that is not part of their training data.
Victoria VR is a project that combines AI and VR technologies to tackle the challenges that come with both. The goal of this project is to use AI to revolutionize game development and enhance player experiences in Victoria VR. Recently, the project announced a new platform that allows users to create VR experiences and entire metaverses without needing to have programming skills. This platform is called the AI builder platform.
What is the Victoria VR AI Builder?
Victoria VR's AI Builder represents a groundbreaking collaboration with OpenAI, empowering individuals lacking coding expertise to craft personalized VR games, environments, and digital realms. Leveraging Unreal Engine 5 technology alongside Chat GPT prompts, the platform facilitates the development of immersive 3D experiences, games, and applications. Fueled by its native token, $VR, the AI builder facilitates the minting of user-generated content as NFTs, enabling their seamless exchange on the blockchain.
Current Projects & Future Plans
Victoria VR has introduced three distinct projects that have been developed using AI Builder. These projects are prime examples showcasing the diverse range of applications available to companies and builders, illustrating how they can harness this technology to its fullest potential.
- VR Catamaran: an immersive one-to-one presentation of the “Lagoon 55 sailing-motor catamaran”, allowing users to explore the watercraft and its features. This use case offers a virtual way for potential buyers to experience the vessel without traveling to a physical showroom. Watch the video here.
- Metaverse Cosmetic Store: In this use case, Victoria VR partnered with Chaifik Studios and Demain Beauty so users can explore and try Demain Beauty products virtually. Watch the video here.
- Virtual Handbag Gallery: The third use case was created for Feng-Shui-inspired handbags, allowing brands to create virtual galleries in their respective brand styles. Watch the video here.
Victoria VR is currently accessible on the Apple Vision Pro and Oculus Quest 3 platforms. In the future, it will incorporate additional AI technologies like DALL-E, Midjourney, and Stable Diffusion.
