Localmonero / local cash transaction

Any tips on doing a cash transaction with localmonero to buy monero? I see they have several guides for cash by mail, but not much for local cash.

specifically:

1). where to meet, does it matter? starbucks ok?

2). are ids usually exchanged? I prefer not to.

3). ways to identify that the trader is legit at the transaction, anything to look for

4). do they usually validate the $100 bills right there? I would assume so.

5). can anything be done to help the transaction go smoothly with no uncertainty on either party?

6). pre-screening questions to ask the seller online before arranging to meet
